From Father Alphonsus
Dear Friends, Since I arrived at St. John’s, I have had the opportunity to speak with many of you about the various needs of our parish – both the spiritual and the temporal. As your priest, I, along with Deacon Glenn, are very able to attend to the spiritual needs of our community. I will, however, need your assistance with the temporal. I would like to establish a committee of persons with backgrounds in construction, project management, HVAC, maintenance, electrical and plumbing. The purpose of this committee would be to assess the overall condition of the interior and exterior of the Church and Parish Center buildings, and to create a master maintenance plan so that we may all have a better understanding of our future needs and plan accordingly. If you are interested in joining this committee, please email me at email@example.com with your name, contact information and background area. You may also call the parish office and leave your information with the parish secretary. I believe that together we can do good work to take our parish into the future.
