“My help comes from the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth.” - Psalm 121:2, NAB
So today we answer last week’s question. Our help comes from God. Since He is the creator of both heaven and earth we declare that He is not confined to any place or time. He is not constrained, and neither should we be in our faith and trust in Him. Since He has created all things then we should take comfort that he is in all things. We can find comfort and not fear the dark, turbulent, or vast anything. For on this journey of life…God is with us. Sure we must prepare, only a fool would go on the sea without a life preserver, or jump out of a plane without a parachute, etc. But God can and will help us; we just need to trust Him. I didn’t say bad things or accidents wouldn’t happen…I said the Lord would help us. And to do that, He must be with us. Trust me, I’ve been in some pretty bad situations but God stayed with me. Things can always be worse on the outside…but it’s for what’s on the inside that the Lord is most diligent… our very souls. Yes, life can be rough…but I think our God is much more formidable. If you would like to read about the Lord and a journey, may I suggest Tobit? Trust in the Lord and pray to Him, He may just send an angel to be with you on your journey…He did it for Tobias, Tobit’s son, and He’ll do for you.
Until next time… we should be focusing on trust in the Lord...luv ya!
